for Windows NT! Info-Pak Plus for Windows NT is vastly more user-friendly than
earlier MS-DOS versions and now its moisture content data can be networked with
your other Windows - based software."  Info-Pak
Plus for Windows NT is a database management system that receives moisture content
readings for every board. Boards can be identified by source (kiln, vendor, etc.)
and material (species and dimension) and organized into groups. Groups can be
user-specified into runs, units (lumber) and loads (kiln charges). Units can
be tracked by tags, which are user-specified numeric identifiers. Kilns (locations)
can be mapped on a 3D grid to provide a system to track units of lumber within
kiln charges (loads). Once a 3D grid has been specified for a kiln (location)
remote input is reduced at the breakdown hoist and tagged units can be tracked
back to specific kiln areas, greatly enhancing kiln diagnostic capabilities.
