In the early 1960's, Delmer Wagner was a Pacific Northwest wood products electrician.
Day after day he saw first-hand the problems that moisture caused in wood processing.
He listened as management complained about measuring moisture using current
technology. He knew that he could create a better system, one which would be
easy to use, easy to calibrate and easy to interpret. This led to his design
of the first solid-state, non-contact, in-line moisture detector
When customers asked for a hand-held meter, which would offer the same accuracy
and reliability of our larger in-plant systems, we developed the original Wagner,
pin-free moisture meter. Today, our expanded line of hand-held moisture meters
has become the worldwide standard for accuracy and reliability.
WAGNER'S MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Wagner Electronic Products Inc. is to create and provide solutions
in moisture measurement technology to enhance the quality and value of our
customer's products.
